Brian Abel
Senior Electrical Designer
Brian brings over 25 years of electrical design in the Higher Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Religious, and K-12 markets. His favorite types of projects are the ones in which we are challenged to design something unique and creative.
When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and volunteering.
Zachary Abel
Electrical Designer
Zachary is a proud graduate of Purdue University, earning his Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity through the IUPUI program. He has supported the ATP Engineering team in a part-time role with projects that align with his growing expertise and the company’s clear vision for the last 4 years. Zach works full time in IT with a focus on networking and data systems. He has a strong interest in electrical engineering, cybersecurity, and network infrastructure, and enjoys working with hands-on, technically challenging projects that push him to learn and innovate.
When Zach isn’t working, he’s spending time with his wife and two cats, working out, or playing his current, favorite video game.
Brenda Bradley
Senior Plumbing Designer
Bringing over 30 years of experience in the commercial construction industry, Brenda is an experienced professional in plumbing design with a specialized focus on healthcare, higher education, and commercial facilities. Her technical expertise spans the design of domestic water systems, sanitary and vent waste systems, medical gas systems, and fire protection infrastructure.
Known for her collaborative approach, Brenda excels in integrating plumbing systems with broader building requirements, ensuring her designs are efficient, sustainable, and aligned with client objectives. She is deeply committed to building and maintaining long-term relationships within the industry, and she takes pride in creating solutions that support both functionality and innovation in building design.
Outside of work, Brenda is a dedicated mother of three and is married to a fellow mechanical engineer in the same industry—making construction and design a true family affair.
Doug Bradley, PE
Senior Mechanical Engineer
Doug is a seasoned Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager with over 30 years of experience in HVAC, Fire Protection and plumbing system design. A graduate of Purdue University, Doug brings a practical, hands-on approach to every project, focusing on delivering mechanical solutions tailored to each client’s facility needs. His expertise spans a broad range of building types, including higher education, healthcare, laboratories, and commercial buildings.
Doug has successfully designed and specified complex mechanical systems, including chilled water thermal storage systems, variable air volume (VAV) systems, steam systems, hydronic heating, air- and water-cooled chilled water systems, variable refrigerant flow (VRF), and chilled beam systems. His deep knowledge and collaborative project leadership have made him a trusted partner in delivering high-performing, energy-efficient building systems.
Doug is also a dedicated family man—husband to a fellow plumbing designer and proud father of three—bringing the same commitment and care to his personal life that he brings to his professional endeavors.
Andy Enloe, PE, HFDP, LEED AP BD+C
Senior Mechanical Engineer
Andy Enloe is a Senior Mechanical Engineer with over 15 years of experience in the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) industry. Licensed in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and Nevada, Andy brings deep technical knowledge and a practical, solutions-driven approach to every project. He is also credentialed as an ASHRAE Healthcare Facility Design Professional (HFDP) and a LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design + Construction (LEED AP BD+C), reflecting his commitment to both performance and sustainability.
Throughout his career, Andy has specialized in the design of mechanical systems for healthcare environments, including outpatient clinics, oncology centers, and large-scale hospital campuses. His portfolio includes complex, multi-phase hospital renovations and new ground-up medical facilities, where he consistently delivers engineering solutions that prioritize patient safety, energy efficiency, and operational reliability.
Andy is an active member of several professional organizations, including ASHRAE, NCEES, and the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). His work reflects a passion for improving the built environment through thoughtful, high-performing engineering design.
David Shuck, PE
Senior Electrical Engineer
With over 40 years of experience in the consulting engineering field, Dave leads our electrical team with a deep well of knowledge and a reputation for delivering creative, effective solutions. His ability to manage projects of any size or complexity—especially those with unique or challenging requirements—has made him a trusted partner to clients across industries.
Dave’s leadership style is rooted in active listening and a commitment to understanding each client’s unique needs. He takes pride in earning their trust by providing tailored, thoughtful solutions that consistently exceed expectations.
A proud graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Dave leverages his technical expertise to mentor and guide the electrical team toward continued success.
Outside the office, Dave enjoys spending time with his wife and family. He’s also an avid golfer and pickleball enthusiast—you’re likely to find him on the course or court when he’s not engineering great outcomes.
Lorie Shuck
Owner and President
After retiring as Director of Educational Technology at the Indiana University School of Medicine, Lorie now brings her extensive leadership experience to her role as Owner and President of ATP Engineering. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Media Arts and Science and a master’s degree in Adult Education, both from Indiana University.
Outside of work, Lorie enjoys quality time with Dave, her husband of over 40 years, keeping up with the lively adventures of her three grandchildren, and staying active on the pickleball court whenever she can.
Kate Stuhrenberg
Senior Electrical Designer
Kate has been in the electrical design industry for over twenty years.
Her interest in design originated with an architectural drafting class in high school.
Kate was born and raised on Evansville, Indiana’s westside. In 2015, her Aunt, a positive influence in her life, encouraged her to explore the many opportunities that Indianapolis had to offer. One challenge for her in the commercial design industry has been being one of only a few females amongst her colleagues. The female leaders in her workplaces have always made a large impression upon her. Some of her passions include enjoying German cuisine and visiting new and fun places with her husband and their two boys.
Josh Walke
Senior Electrical Designer
Joshua Walke is part of the electrical team at ATP Engineering, contributing to a wide range of projects in healthcare, higher education, hospitality, and corporate office environments. With a background in the design and construction of diverse facility types, Josh brings a process-driven, client-focused approach to every project. He uses performance metrics to develop innovative, cost-effective, and efficient solutions that are easy to maintain. Known for his approachable nature, Josh fosters strong relationships both with clients and within the ATP team.
Outside of engineering, Josh stays busy with his two daughters, who are active in cheerleading, softball, flag football, and choir. He’s a hands-on DIY enthusiast who enjoys working on his own home and lending a hand to friends and neighbors with their home improvement projects.
